BMAT is a local charity, run by volunteer trustees and committed to :

preserving the rural character of the local area
fighting climate change through initiatives including carbon capture, building biodiversity and re-wilding
providing green spaces for the community to enjoy nature and time outdoors

Friends of BMAT (FOBMAT) is a community led group that aims to inform the local residents about the Trust, to encourage people to get involved and to get outdoors and enjoy the beautiful green spaces here in Boughton Monchelsea.
